	[22:59] <Mizunomics01> It should be noted that gas prices in Europe have traditionally always been quite high; the United States has artifically managed to keep their prices low for many years. This is a correction of sorts.

	[23:01] <FireFly_9> I don't know, I think that's "feel good" talk to make the people think something is being done. In reality, there is not much you can do. Those videos you linked earlier, Ami-san, I keep thinking of them. Our energy needs continue to grow and oil supplies are finite.

I learned recently that apparently we mistranslated the Mayan calendar. From what I understand the predicted start of a new cycle was 1986. But hey, who knows?
