And that's the movie. So here's my review:

Plot: Well, this was well=executed technically. The story was a simple "man saves the woman he loves" narrative, an in that sense it succeeded. As a work of Philosophy as one might have expected from a Matrix film it falls fairly flat, just making the simplistic statement that the masses crave control and order as opposed to free thinking, without really making it a core struggle of the film. Yes, Neo and Trinity have to make "choices", but they are never really tested in the way that would be necessary to get a good exploration of why so many people willingly turn off their critical thinking faculties and submit to the whims of others. 1 out of 2 Dragonnballs.

Visuals: It's a Matrix film. That's all that needs to be said. 2 out of 2 Dragonballs.

Audio: A serviceable riff on Matrix themes but nothing remarkable. Even the Rage Against the Machine cover at the end felt obligatory and anemic. One out of two Dragonballs/

Overall feeling: It was entertaining but unfulfilling. The tropes, even in the action scenes were hoary and not really innovative. One half Dragonball out of one.

Prince Endymion got knocked down, having taken the hit for Usagi. When all hope seemed lost, the Senshi got a break through a sudden Dead Scream attack. Sailor Moon used an appeal for everyone's power to win.
