So I'm here to sing the praises of a Korean Horror film (which I treat more as an action film) called The Witch Part 1: The Subversion.
Normally I'd go into a deep dive as to why it's the s[BLEEP]t but to explain would be to give too much away.
If you love a little bit of gory fight action, this thing is for you.
At first you'll be like "oh this is cool" then "oh, this pacing sucks, they could have cut it down a bit."
No.
No.
IT's all done exactly as it needs to be. And to say more would ruin things.
The US markets it as Sci-Fi Action which it is, but in Korea it's marketed as Horror, which I guess it is? But when I was watching it my whole reaction was this
There is a sequel which is great for action and comedy and expanding the lore and worldbuilding, but to be honest it's not as GREAT as the first film (which is no knock on it, it's still a really good action film)
If I had to give it a classic Subsen Dragonball rating...
Plot: 1.5 out of 2 Dragonballs - it does what it needs to do and doesn't try to be Scorcese.
Visuals: 2 out of 2 Dragonballs - great special effects and cinematography make for a memorable, convincing and exciting AF experience
Audio: 1.5 out of 2 Dragonballs - it's an effective, impactful score that isn't something that'll brainworm you but gets the job done
Overall feeling: 1 out of 1 Dragonballs - Everything summed up to make one amazing experience I wish I could have again for the first time. No higher praise can be given.
Overall rating: 6/7 Dragonballs

One day we should try to collect all our ratings onto a page. That might be a good use for your homepage, Haruka-poppa.

Sounds good to me

So I hear that in preparation for its move to Netflix next year, WWE RAW is going back to two hours long starting October 7th.
@SpeedRcrX
I'd remark on that but sadly I have to update a part of the site I never wanted to
