[22:35] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] Once in a small village, there lived a wicked old man. He cast anyway everyone he knew and lived in an old hovel on the edge of the valley. However, there were many rumors that he had accumulated great wealth and had hidden it away somewhere. Some said it was hidden in his home, while others thought that such wealth had no real existence. The most popular, however, was that it was buried in a small box under the small grey stone in his yard. However, he was so wicked that none dared to approach.

[22:37] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] The old man died after many years and though many were afraid, he was buried away from his home and then was forgotten, for some feared his wickedness even after.
[22:37] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] In this village there lived two young boys, Afra and Toran. Afra was bold and brave and Toran was careful and quiet. A few days after the old man was buried, Afra decided it would be a good idea to go to the hovel and dig up the old box.
[22:38] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] “just think, Toran! With that money, our families can do well for many a year! We have nothing to fear now that the wicked old man is dead!” Afra said, his eyes widening with the very thoughts of everything he could do with those riches.
[22:38] <Giselle Bellerose> [Death Head Moth] very well >.>
[22:39] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] “Aren’t you afraid? If our parents find out, we shall be punished!” Toran said, looking nervously around. “Don’t be silly! We shall not be gone long! Bring a shovel and meet me near the hill. We’ll find that box and be done with it before they even know we’re gone.” Afra said and after a moment’s hesitation, Toran agreed.
[22:39] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] That night, Afra could not sleep, for the dreams of riches and wealth going through his head. After a time, he heard his parents snore and knew that it was the right moment to go out and begin the plan. So removing the small shovel he had hidden away under his bed, he snuck out through the window in his room and out into the night.
[22:41] <Gavrison O`Cain> [Knight] Carrie, calm down. Same for you, Giselle.
[22:41] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] It was light enough that Afra could see his way but the shadows made it difficult for him to make out anything but the most striking of shapes. After awhile he reached the hill but saw no sign of Toran. It was typical, he thought to himself, that the coward would not show up. However, no sooner did he think of leaving himself, then he saw the familiar form of his friend emerge from the path, waving, with a shovel slung over his shoulder. Running forward, he paused to catch his breath.

[22:43] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] “I am sorry. I nearly forgot. Shall we go?” “Of course! We only have so much time!” With that the two boys went on their way, sometimes running, sometimes walking, talking of what they would do with the wonderful wealth they were to gain.
[22:44] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] After a moment, they saw the old man’s home. It was nearly overgrown with plants and if not for ithe evidence of his eyes, Afra thought it would fall over at any moment. There was something sinister about it, a feeling which told him to run away and back to his safe and happy home. But it was no matter and he was eager to do well for himself and his friend. It took them but a moment to spot the old grey stone, perched but a few distance from the home and both ran with great speed to begin their work.
[22:45] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] The work was dirty and hard, with each pile of dirt giving way to another. The light would come and go as shadows would shrink and grow, giving off strange and grotesque shapes, which even made Afra pause for more then a minute but then he would continue and join back into the hard work. After much time, Afra’s shovel hit something hard with a loud clunk. Afra and Torval tossed aside their instruments, each starting to dig with their hands. It was the box, small and wooden, caked in mud.

[22:46] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] “We’ve done it, Torval! We did it!” Afra said, turning to his friend, who couldn’t help but smile as well. As the two boys scrambled out of the hole, pulling the box out and letting it rest nearby, Afra froze in place. There was the sounds of footprints, rapidly approaching out of the shadows. He could see something, something coming towards them, it’s form hidden and broken up by the cracked light. Closer it came and as it did, slowly was Afra able to make it out...

[22:47] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] Torval ran out from the shadows, shovel over his shoulder, waving to his friend. Over the din of the night wind, his words barely being able to be heard.

[22:47] <Freya Felinus> [Wanda] Afra stood there and felt the cold boney fingers tighten around his shoulder...
